As the automotive industry continues to evolve, so do the skills and qualities of its workforce. The image of today’s ideal employee is very different from that of an ideal candidate 10 years ago, as are the expectations placed on that employee by their employer.

In our third webinar in the AutoCareersBC series, “The Ideal Employee,” we will discuss not only what attributes to look for in a prospective employee, but, more importantly, what an employer should offer to attract and retain the younger generation coming into the industry. In the search for ideal staff, some businesses may forget that an employee is only as good as their employer, so whether an employee enhances their skills at work depends on the environment and level of support they get from their employer.
