The Automotive Retailers Association is thrilled to announce that on September 30 – October 1, we will be celebrating 70 years of excellence in the automotive industry. We are excited to see you, as we take you Through the Decades. Dust off your golf and dancing shoes and come celebrate the past, present and future with us in Whistler! We invite you to two incredible days of play, inspiration, and connection with fellow ARA members, peers and associates. Together let’s honour 70 years of building support and change for our industry, as we continue to drive the industry to excellence. 

We’re excited to celebrate with you, starting at our golf tournament, at the stunning Whistler Golf and Country Club, which is conveniently located near the Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa. We have a special rate just for ARA members, so please use the link below to book yourself in before the rooms sell out. Along with our golf tournament fundraiser, we’ll be hosting a gala, casino night, and our pedal car auction as well! 

The 70th Anniversary Celebration will be about reflecting on the many years the ARA has been an industry advocate, but also our efforts to grow and push our industry into the future. It will be about connection, engagement and showing you how much we appreciate our community. 

Thank you for being the change and continue discovering ways on how we can be industry leaders together. And yes, even leaders need to play and have fun! Don’t hesitate and come on out for an unforgettable time to honour and celebrate the 70th anniversary of this organization that continues to support small and large businesses within the industry.

Friday, September 30

8:00 am – registration opens for the golf game

9:30 am – 3:30 pm – Golf tournament fundraiser

5:00 pm – 11:30 pm – Chairman’s reception & Casino night

– includes cocktails, buffet dinner, dessert tables, coffee/tea

– Casino opens at 8:00 pm

 

Saturday, October 1

9:00 am – 11:30 pm – Annual General Meeting (AGM)

11:45 am – 1:15 pm – Luncheon & keynote speakers 

5:30 pm – 6:15 pm Gala cocktail reception

8:30 pm – Industry awards, Pedal Car Challenge awards, Automotive Retailers Foundation Inc. (ARFI) awards presentations

9:45 pm -11:30 pm – Live music, dancing

**CANCELLATION POLICY**

Guests may cancel their 70th Anniversary Celebration & AGM and Golf Tournament tickets without a penalty in these two instances: 1) if the government issues a formal travel restriction, or 2) if a guest shows a positive Covid-19 test, and a doctor’s note is provided to the Automotive Retailers Association.
